Aorlhac (speak "our-yuck") stands for Aurillac, the town the band comes from, in Occitan language.
In 2009, the band contributed to Aspherical Asphyxia's tribute album to Emperor titled "Old crown, new spawn (furens chapter 1: Emperor)" with the song "With strength I burn" by Emperor and an original composition: "Le miroir des péchés". The tribute can be downloaded for free at the label's web site.
