Abhorer was the first black metal band from Asia along with Japan''s Sabbat (Jpn).

Formed in 1987 as Tombcrusher.

There is also a compilation in circulation called "Unholy Blasphemer" released on Xtreem Music, that is unauthorized by the band. It seems this label was scammed by someone pretending to be from Abhorer and made this release thinking they had the real band's approval. Though it seems Xtreem was a victim in this matter, their unofficial release still can't be featured on this page, the same as any bootleg.
