Additional notes:
The band started off with a metallic hardcore sound very much in the vein of Life of Agony and Spudmonsters (not surprising being that the band is/was comprised of past members of both bands) but gradually became a groove/thrash oriented band. Overtime, the band also incorporated many clean vocals as well as keyboards. Pro-Pain was born with Gary Meskil after he played during eight years in Crumbsuckers. In 1991 Crumbsuckers split-up and Gary Meskil, Dan Richardson, Chuck Lenihan and the other Crumbsuckers members except Robert Koebler also started up a band entitled Heavy Rain prior to creating Pro-Pain.

По наводке Ангароида послушал я Пропей на ютубе пару трэков. Вполне себе неплохой олдскульный грувятский, хотя тупой и примтивный. Слушать все 15 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/14.gif) альбомов желания нет, но клип на Дэтвиш вполне себе неплох. Да и в целом видно что качающее говнецо. По крайней мере нет вставок ненужного чистого вокала как у Бартона. Все по мужски грубо. Тупо? Ну и пусть. Грув и должен быть примитивным, тупорылым иначе в чем его кайф?

Про-Пэйн - это примитивное говнище. хотя, отдельные треки с 1998 и 1999 очень нравятся. на самом деле, у них классическое и сочное звучание. но, когда слушаешь всё подряд, получается дерьмо. вот так

слушай SKINLAB и PISSING RAZORS! чего ты упёрся как баран тупой??? хочешь классик-грув, вот там его и услышишь

и Burn My Eyes бегом от и до внимательно и с попкорном

Ты под спидами чтоли? Зачем слушать подряд все альбомы подряд? Так от любой группы можно поехать, даже от саундтрэков к старым фильмам.

если возьмёшь другие, то впечатление будет неправильное, т.к. там уже говнеца хватает модного немного

ты про Pissing Razors? ну там есть атмосфера хардкора, ритм тот же местами, но на этом всё

а чистые вставки в груве - это шик. правда, не всегда они удачные. зависит ещё от вокалиста и записи голоса

и ещё больше обожаю вот это проговаривание, хрипение... забыл, как называется. то, что частенько у Фила в Пантере. вот такого же приёма достаточно у Скинов и Рэйзоров, а также более редких груверов
