Течет время люди и соответственно музыканты меняются, стареют, но не забывайте что тяжелая музыка по своей структуре почти одинакова с классической. Ради интереса послушайте классику и в воображении замените инструменты на современные....

Те же слова, та же песня, те же риффы, всё повторяется из альбома в альбом.... истинно ТРУ МЕТАЛ, самовоспроизводство...


И всё равно приятно слушается местами...

Одно не пойму - зачем было записывать альбом длительностью чуть не в полтора часа, если материала реально на полчаса?

Впрочем и это для Мановара не редкость.... в лучших традициях, для ТРУ ХЕВИ МИТОЛИСТОВ especially.... Thanx.

да, пережатка чувствуется. Я качал из другого места, но там тоже пережатка. Причем похоже из 128 или 160, но это даже не 192 - слышно отчетливо. Еще мне показалось, что симфоника эллектронная. По крайней мере отчетливо слышно, что она неживая (в сравнении например с Lacrimosa Echos, где инструменты настоящие), а это очень странно для группы такого уровня.

Sad, but lot of stuff posted there and on NNm in 320kbps in fact are re-rips by some asholes of VBR releses. If its true in this case then original could be this one:

Anyway, not worth to bother, 'cause album is even bigger shit than previous one. Only great song is 3rd. 5, 10 and 16 are OK. Other stuff is shit like Nesum Dorma or re-rips of some older songs.

Oh, someone took it very personal (IMG:http://metalarea.org/forum/style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) If Manowar will continue their musical experiments - they could really end with rap-core.

There was band that sang something like this - "We are true metal people, sooner tiger looses his stripes, than we change our stile ..." How far I know, tigers still have stripes, but Manowar dont play Metal any more (~5 songs from 15 dont counts).

Luckily, there isn't one musical taste for all people. I dont have anything against classical music, but when Manowar starts to pretend to be Wagner, its simply lame. We have a lot of better examples of Symphonic Metal - like Waltari and Rage. Also Scorpions and even Metallica is much better.

I could be the first to vote 10/10 for this album if symphonic parts would be really great. But they are simply pathetic.

Всем салют!
К сожалению, пока слюшала только три песни с альбома... Заранее обидно за любимую группу. Столько негатива в комментах!!! К стати, альбом пятилетней давности, по-моему, ни на шаг не отходит от их классического стиля!!!

И я сильно сомневаюсь, что хоть один настоящий фэн будет орать, что Manowar исписался, одна патетика... Даже, если они сделали не самый удачный альбом в своей жизни.
