Классическая штука... Боа лично мне не нравился никогда, этот проект - исключение (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) Шедевром не назвал бы, но всё равно здорово.

какой-то Боа... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/21.gif) хрен какой-то.. ну и пес с ним.

Но в том-то и дело что этот робко жмущися посреди толпы суперзвезд Боа и есть ключевая фигура данного релиза. Вся суперзвездная плеяда - Ломбардо, Шульдинера, Петроццы и Сорихты тут исключительно для мебели, а заправляет всем именно Боа.
Поэтому Вудукальт надо трактовать не как "Чак, Милле, Дэйв и Вальдемар собрались и запилили альбомчик", а "Боа набрал недешевых статистов и думал что всех н[мат->бан]..л". Авотфиг. Потому как все эти звезды могу быть какими угодно звездами, но играют они музыку созданную Боа и исправить изначальную её убогость вся их звездность не в состоянии (хотя бы потому что из них четверых только Ломбардно звездный КАК ИСПОЛНИТЕЛЬ, а все остальные - звездные КОМПОЗИТОРЫ, чего им здесь проявить не дают).

На вокал надо было пригласить Брюса Дикинсона, а на басу позвать играть Стива ДиДжорджио - картина маслом - специалисты высшего класса, делают работу уровня подающих надежды среднестатистических сессионщиков-сезонников. Филипп Боа конечно какой-никакой но композитор, материал в целом цеплябельный и слушается с немалым интересом, НО это если не оглядыватся, КТО ИГРАЕТ ЭТО!
Где шустрый гитарный чёс Милле Пеетроцца?! Где завернутый атональный риффинг Вальдемара Сорихта?! И соляки!!! ГДЕ ОНИ?!! На протяжении всей пластинки встречается отсилы 2-3 коротких бендовых соло-подыгреша, которые из под общей фактуры вообще еле-еле слышны! И это при учёте, что в составе Чак Шульдинер - один из лучших (если не лучший!) соло-гитаристов в истории метала. Не понятно абсолютно, для чего его приглашали... равносильно, что с гитарой постоять что-ли.
Раскрытся дали пожалуй только Дэйву Ломбардо - отстучал на совесть без изъянов.

Как факт можно констатировать: понты, понты и ещё раз понты.
