Хотелось бы, чтоб народ поделился своими предпочтениями.
Мне вот особенно нравятся:

Die Apokalyptischen Reiter - Baila Conmigo
Iron Maiden - Como Estais Amigos
Adolf Castle - The Heart Of The Spring (наверное лучшая вообще)
Metallica - Unforgiven (ещё наверное в детском садике слушал (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) )
Stratovarius - Lead Us Into The Lights, Tears Of Ice, Forever, Coming Home, Mother Gaia, Years Go By, Will My Soul Ever Rest In Peace (короче говоря ВСЕ баллады у Страдивариусов. Они в этом плане просто непревзойдённые мастера!!!)

У Sonata Arctica есть несколько отличных баллад - Replica, Shy, Mary-Lou (Acoustic Version)
У Невиди называли песню Ярым Оком, а по мне скорее балладистей песня Мой Свет.
Странно, что не назвали у Metallica песни Nothing Else Matters и Mama Said, ну и до кучи Turn The Page (Bob Seger Cover).

на вскидку, чото еще на языке вертица но не могу вспомнить.

Все таки в первую очередь слово "баллада" у меня ассоциируется с рок- и хэви-группами. Опять таки ассоциации из детства. Трэш, дэт, блэк и прочее со словом баллада в моем мозгу не увязываются никоим образом.
