Одна из любимейших групп! Любимый альбом - Dance of December Souls. Из "depressive rock"-ых альбомов больше всего нравится первый (Discouraged Ones). Меня интересует, что скажете насчет Viva Emptiness? Вроде, я и слушал много раз, но все равно реально цепляет только концовка альбома... Особенно Evidence...

На мой взгляд альбом одной из моих самых любимых групп под названием Brave Murder Day смело можно называть шедевром...Такой мрачной,безысходной,меланхоличной атмосферы я не слышал больше ни у кого...А альбом Sounds Of Decay это продолжение Brave Murder Day,тоже не менее шедеврален...А из позднего периода особо віделить ничего не могу,т.к. это так сильно не цепляет как вышеперечисленные альбомы...Как по мне это мастхэвв для всех думеров...

Это и есть ШЕДЕВР! Причем это все уже давно знают... Без него группа потеряла бы, как минимум, половину своей привлекательности...
Кстати, в прошлом году выпустили reissue этого альбома... Особых отличий в звуке не заметил, зато в этот релиз добавили треки из Sounds Of Decay, так что получилась некая завершенность...

Одна из самых любимых групп. Viva Emptiness цепляет больше всех. Правда, так получилось, что группу я прослушивал в обратном порядке... раннее творчество не нравится из-за вокала.

Я удивляюсь с вас...да Кататония - боги депрессива, одна из лучших груп вообще на мой взгляд...
Evidence вообще улётный трек, всё время напеваю, i am the evidence, you pass the test and that's so good for you=)
И не надо говорить что денег не стало хватать или ещё что-то, творчество кататонии на всём протяжении существования группы остаётся первоклассным, будь это дум-дэт или депрессив рок-метал.
Кстати у кого есть диски?мож выложит кто-нибудь в лосе?

Любимая группа вот уже несколько лет.
Очень сложно было проголосовать за любимый альбом, так как нравится всё их творчество... но отдал всё-таки голос за Discouraged Ones.

Кстати, никто не в курсе - какие-нибудь сборники каверов на Кататонию выходили?
Я вот вроде и обложку видел где-то, а вот саму музыку так и не удаётся найти...
Из каверов слышал только "I Break" в исполнении дум-дэтовой формации Wyrd, весьма недурно, надо сказать... эдакий взгляд на то, какой бы была Кататония, не измени они в 1998 году свою основную творческую линию)

Тут же недавно выкладывали 3 релиза каверов...Скажу что группа Unicorn меня очень порадовала каверами треков с Viva Emptiness, Омерту они на мой взгляд даже лучше оригинала сыграли
