The MLP "Vom Abschied des Lichts", which was released by Black Devastation Records in January 2010, was cancelled after pressing.
Official label note:
"What led to the sudden rejection of the Idisenfluch MLP? Well, because the band isn't satisfied with the sound of the Vinyl. In detail, the Vinyl plays minimally faster than the original CD, and thus, sounds different than a CD. I can tell that, actually, it's like that but it carries no weight, since the difference is hardly audible. Anybody who has some experience with Vinyl should be able to understand that a LP can never sound like a CD. Due to this fractional "error", the young band considers it as necessary to prevent us from selling the MLP - despite the fact that we enabled them to release a Vinyl after we already did their Demo. To encapsulate: the band forced us to throw away 1000 euros. It should be obvious that we can't agree to a new pressing, simply because it's not possible economically when it comes to editions of 99 LPs. Too bad, but in the course of these facts, we felt impelled to desist from a further collaboration with the band.
In the meantime, the band has issued a statement that contains a lie. That is to say: "The songs were mastered extra for a vinyl production and this mastering was made after the advises of Taaken."
Actually, we never told them how to master the material at any time. We just demanded a regular Audio CD."
