но он не такой скучный и пустой как у Арайа. и музыка на низких тонах, в отличие от Слауера

альбом 1992 уже сочный классный в плане одной гитары. так и хочется слушать. но да, вокал тоже, конечно, не самый для меня приятный, но...

а Slayer колхозно абсолютно звучат на записи, проще говоря. нихрена мне не запомнилось и не захотелось включить ещё раз. исключение - 2001. дальше я не слушал

Второпях записанный, судя по всему, для ублажения лэйбла.
Есть пара нормальных песен, но остальное - лютая унылость и серость.

да миллион раз уже это обсуждалось. На паверслейв кроме первых двух ОТ СИЛЫ ещё 1-2 просто неплохих песни можно найти, остальное ДИЧАЙШИЙ шлак.

Самвэа Ин Тайм роскошный, но лично мне всегда казался нудновато-затянутым и быстро приедающимся. Ну не могу я его осилить даже 2 раза подряд. Седьмой сынок для меня получше, но имеет пару жестоких даже не проходняков, а середняков.

Для меня есть наверное 4 альбома Мейден, которые я могу слушать кругами - 1980, 1982, 1992 и 2000. БЛИЗОК к этому последний, но с ремаркой что для него нужно определённое настроение. Не всегда идёт.

Самые переоценённые альбомы группы - 1983, 1984 и 1981 туда же, хотя его вроде как никто и не ценит и это просто гумно.

А Powerslave, а Seventh Son, а Somewhere in Time? их что, не существует, что ли?

Паверслейв — самый переоцененный альбом группы. На 86 3 из 8 тем очень средние, на Сыне такая же ситуация. Что не отменяет легендарности этих релизов, как и сабжа, впрочем.

1984 и 1986 - самые лучшие альбомы команды за всю карьеру. До этого - слишком сыро, после - чересчур профессионально, заумно и пафосно. На 1995 снова пошла жара. Вышеназыванные альбомы - идеальный баланс лучших качеств группы и самые хитовые.

Может и обсуждалось, но результаты-то обсуждения с твоим мнением не совпадают. Я охотно верю что тебе лично Пауэрслейв кажется шляпой, но как раз общее мнение, что он является непререкаемой классикой, смотри на его рейтинги на ЛЮБОМ портале - от RYM до AllMusic. В отличии, кстати, от 92го, у которого ОЧЕНЬ неоднозначные оценки.

Это я не к тому что индивидуальное мнение априори ниже массового, а именно в контексте фразы "миллион раз уже это обсуждалось"

Серьёзно, не понимаю, как можно считать лучшим альбомом Паверслейв. Первые две песни годные без вопросов, далее: инструменталка ни о чём, отличная Flash of the Blade, калька с самих же себя (уже на пятом альбоме!) The Duellists, скучная Back to the Village и как для титулки очень средняя Powerslave. Завершающий эпик лучшая тема альбома.

Оценка Alexander the Great как "очень средней" теперь будет до конца дней на твоей совести (IMG:style_emoticons/default/25.gif) . Ибо это же одна из лучших песен группы вообще.
Sea of Madness - ну да, не очень. Но я бы не сказал, что она именно плохая, она просто существенно слабее остальных.

Ну так одно дело "послабее остальных" и совсем другое - проходняк. Ни на 84, ни на 86, ни на 88 проходняка нету (ок, на 84-м есть - Back to the Village), а тут чуть ли не пол-альбома такового. И поэтому как бы ни были высоки его хайлайты (а я даже могу согласиться с тем, что они выше хайлайтов любого другого альбома), именно балласт утаскивает его общую оценку, нет, не на дно, конечно же, но до уровня где-то 7-8/10, что нижу чем У ЛЮБОГО другого альбома группы.

Heaven Can Wait вообще дребедень, Бегун немногим лучше, и третью слабую ты угадал.

Есть, про 84 и 86 я уже сказал, на 88 это Can I Play with Madness (да, общепризнанный хит, но я никогда её не любил) и The Prophecy. Да и открышка/закрывашка не так чтобы шедевральны. Титулка хорошая, но обе длинные вещи с 92 рвут её на британский флаг. По сути, гениальными там я назову лишь The Evil that Men Do и Infinite Dreams.

Я ещё понимаю дискуссии насчет " Flash of the Blade" или "Duellists" (хотя, как по мне - обе отличные) - это вопрос вкуса, но вот эти два трека считаются ровно такими же "легендыщ111", как и первые два.

никто не динамит, просто я не стал расписывать до конца, а то так и 83й, и 82й пришлось включать. Я ж не виноват что группа столько классики понавыпускала))

Любимая песня на альбоме и одна из любимых у Мейденов вообще. А концовочка то какая акустическая - просто объедение, пусть и под Метлу. Хотя здесь возникает проблема курицы и яйца.
