А я до недавнего времени как-то равнодушен к группе был. Гораздо больше нравился проект Memento Mori. Но вот позднее творчество и одноимённый альбом Candlemass 2005 меня зацепили сильно. Так же понравился проект Krux со вторым альбомом Krux II.

Услышал впервые в 89 или 90-м году. Сначала Nightfall, затем Tales. Потом уже 86 и 88.
Впечатление все эти альбомы оставили сильное, но больше всего первые 2 которые услышал. 86 год на мой взгляд показался сыроватым... но потонциал чувствовался огромный! Ведь до этого был ещё проект 1984 года. Его я так и не слышал. Ещё видел клип из 92 года где музыка больше похожа на power metal. Новых альбомов не слыхал. Группа очень оригинальная и именно с неё и горстки других и начался жанр!

Отдал голос за дебют. Under The Oak - просто одна из лучших песен на все времена. Последующие два альбома тоже вне конкуренции.

Проголосовав за дебютный полноформатник не увидел откровения в том что ценятся первые два, в чем солидарен с оценивающей аудиторией, однако больше всего предпочитаю некоторые живые записи уж очень вокал и подача нравится Марколина .
