Что ж, с 1994-м мы закончили, с 1993-м, НАКОНЕЦ-ТО, тоже. 1995й пошел на плэй-офф.
В общем, не вижу ни одной причины, почему бы благородным донам не начать выбор лучшего альбома 1996 года. Правила стандартные - называем 20 альбомов, один из них, лучший по Вашему мнению, выделяем, он получит 2 балла. ЕР, концертники, демки называть можно, альбомы каверов и компиляции ранее изданного - нельзя. Окончание тура - где-то через неделю, приблизительно по завершению финала 1995-го. Поехали! От себя хочу добавить, что именно 1996й год, по моему мнению, самый урожайный год в метале, даже более урожайный чем 1989й и 1993й. Я с трудом подавил в себе желание установить для первого тура 25 альбомов, как это сделал Тулар в своей голосовалке по 1995-му. Но, всё-таки, давайте ограничимся двадцатками. Топ есть топ, он не может растягиваться до бесконечности. Год выпуска сверяем по Метал-Архивам. И последнее - для тех, кто удивляется что за "семибанкирщина" указана в названии темы - разъяснение. Amorphis - Elegy - наивысшее достижение финнов. И, пожалуй, альбом года.
Anathema - Eternity - вот с этого альбома началась настоящая Anathema. Кроме того, один из двух сильнейших релизов в их дискографии. Уже не дум, но ещё вполне метал. Angra - Holy Land - потанцуем под бразильские ритмы? Bal-Sagoth - Starfire Burning upon the Ice-Veiled Throne of Ultima Thule - под звуки этого альбома хочется взять меч и тупо снести кому-то башку. Cradle of Filth - Dusk and Her Embrace - ещё круче, чем на дебюте. И так круто, как у них больше почти никогда не будет. Бомба! Edge of Sanity - Crimson - одна из прекраснейших песен длинной в альбом. Grave Digger - Tunes of War - The clan's are marching `gainst the law!!! Helloween - The Time of the Oath - до абсолютного шедевра не хватило совсем чуть-чуть. Хватит в 1998-м In Flames - The Jester Race - один из главных альбомов в жанре. Katatonia - Brave Murder Day - пик думстерской стороны шведов, которая была недолгой, но яркой. Moonspell - Irreligious - чуть слабее дебютника, тем не менее, полон прекрасных песен. Morgana Lefay - Maleficium - жутко недооцененная группа. А жаль... Nevermore - The Politics of Ecstasy - мощно, интеллектуально, хитово. А ведь дальше будет ещё круче. Pantera - The Great Southern Trendkill - пик развития ковбоев. В этом альбоме идеально всё. Psychotic Waltz - Bleeding - пожалуй, одна из лучших работ Бадди Лаки. Rage - End of All Days - переходной период между жестким спид-трэшем и более мелодичным околопауэром. Saturnus - Paradise Belongs to You - альбом способен создать осень в любое время года, стоит его только включить. Sepultura - Roots - если бы всякие высоколобые критики и тупые митолизды умели видеть дальше своего носа, то они бы признали, что альбом сей новаторством из одногодок уступит разве что Териону. Весьма смелый эксперимент, и при этом очень и очень вкусно. Браво, Сепультура! Это ваше лучшее творение. Stratovarius - Episode - один из лучших альбомов Толкки и Ко. И точка. Therion - Theli - альбом насколько революционнный, настолько же и крутой. Кабы не Готик Каббала - сказал бы, что лучший у Териона. К сожалению, отбор топ-20 предполагает ограничения. Посему, Arcturus, Marduk, Samael, Evereve, Satyricon, Bathory, Iced Earth - прошу меня простить. |
