Имею сказать, что звучит отлично. Возможно, не хватает самобытности и оригинальности, но такой задачи судя по всему и не ставилось, хотели качественно перезаписать старые песни и успешно это сделали. Чистый вокал, правда, заметно проигрывает Куортону, но одновременно придает группе узнаваемость. В целом чувствуются профессионализм и любовь к наследию Bathory. Как результат имеем вполне достойный трибьют к 50-тилетию Куортона от его собратьев-шведов. Буду время от времени переслушивать.

These are the best Bathory covers I've ever heard. In fact I would go on to say they are even better than the classic originals. I believe that Ereb Altor have taken truly historic masterpieces and given them a sharper, harder modern edge that does every song proud. Love it! BRILLIANT!!! That's pretty boldy opinion (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hmm.gif) But I would agree, can't really listen to Bathory much because of harsh sound, these covers are just for retards like you and me.

Никогда не мог запомнить, что ребята играют. Но тут послушал и прям, вах, какое бэтори-подобное полотно. Заглянул сюда - блин, а ведь кавера на бэтори ))
Все это слышано переслышано на 100 раз, но тряхнуть стариной всегда приятно. Тем более вон аж не признал кавера на бэтори.

Они не могли не выпустить такой альбом. Bathory оказали на Ereb Altor такое колоссальное влияние, что рано или поздно альбом с каверами на детище Квортона просто обязан был появиться. Предсказуемо для каверов был выбран классический период творчества: альбомы с 1985 по 1991 годы - действительно, что ж ещё каверить у Bathory, как не материал, повлиявший на всех и вся, включая сабжевый коллектив? Получилось просто охренительно! Ибо главные недостатки творчества бессмертных классиков - а именно слабоватый вокал и хреновый звук - были успешно устранены последователями. Ставшие уже культовыми песни получили новую жизнь и зазвучали как никогда профессионально и мощно. Song to Hall Up High в интерпретации Ereb Altor меня и вовсе рвёт круче оригинала.

10/12. Вот как-то обидно выходит: получается, что лучший (по степени воздействия мне он видится самым крутым) альбом Ereb Altor сочинили не они. Засим снимаю балл и получаем десятку.
