но мне не даёт покоя вопрос - отчего современные ортодоксы выбирают самую мэйнстримную форму БМ, тогда как он изначально предполагал позицию совершенно противоположную тренду?

Послушал. Да, мейнстримовый блэк. Но это не значит что следует ставить клеймо позора. Вполне добротная злобная чернуха. Не плохие соло, мало кому удаётся из блэковых групп, грамотно, а самое главное красиво, вставлять в свои композиции соло. Здесь удачный пример.
