Признаться, был несправедлив к этому альбому после первого знакомства. Мне в то время не понравилась смена курса от трушной шведятины в мелодику. Впрочем, удивляться этому так сильно не стоило, ибо первые звоночки слышались еще на "Diabolic Desolation". То, что инфернальный Centinex сделал уклон в сторону мелодик дэза, не делает данный альбом некачественным или попсовым. Вовсе нет - здесь всё (или почти) в духе старошкольного SMDM: высокая скорость, плотность и тяжесть звучания, никаких там соплей. Хорошее мелодэзовое рубилово, достигающее своей мощи особенно в треках "Hollowsphere" и "Cold Deep Supremacy" — на этих отрезках жести не меньше, чем в их старых злобных альбомах.
При смене генеральной линии почерк команды всё же отчетлив: много мрака, мало соляков. Последние присутствуют, но опять же, такие короткие, да и то и не везде. Не обливаешься нотами, так сказать. Зато уж чего вдоволь - это атмосферы духовного упадка на фоне техногенного апокалипсиса. Альбом концептуальный, что можно понять из треклиста. Лирика также стала иной: всё какие-то заморочки насчет "пин-кодов жизни", "освобождения разума" и прочих черных дыр будущего — в целом, это явный прогресс по сравнению с "сотона на люцифере едет и чёрной мессой погоняет".
В целом, при том сама музыка хороша, она не являет что-то выдающегося за рамки стиля, не содержит явных хитов. Это единый шмат мрака и башкотряса, где-то на 7-8/10, при всей моей любви к коллективу.
