Давайте обсудим эту замечательную группу.

P.S: Вот что-то засомневался я по поводу реальности последнего альбома (выложенного тут) и решил осведомиться у первоисточника. Вот какой ответ:
"fake. new album isn't even recorded. there are lots of fake versions out there. the real one comes soon."

Что ещё забавно, этот самый фэйк меня очень порадовал (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif) Так что, хотелось бы также узнать, что за запись запихнули туда.

о чем, собственно, я и писал здесь, потому как тот же материал был на фейке "Defective Epitaph" Ксастура. Однако, несмотря на это, мне тоже было бы интересно узнать, что за запись там - далеко не каждый день подобное встречается

Хорошая группа. Слушая их, словно прорезаешь тонкую полиэтиленовую плёнку между разными мирами, погружаясь в иное измерение абстрактной реальности, забывая и начиная путать местами то, что раньше было чётко определено как Сон и Реальность.

Все-равно заслушай. Фейк очень интересен (IMG:style_emoticons/default/20.gif) Кавер на Thorns - вообще нечто, как впрочем и собственные композиции. Хочу найти другие релизы этого исполнителя =)

Еще, кому не довелось послушать, советую procer veneficus. На некоторых альбома что-то vc-подобное, а остальной материал вряд ли разочарует. Но это не BM.

Альбом "Of Starfire And Blackshadows Crawling" - этакий ебанутый симбиоз Блэка и Эмбиента - очень мрачная и холодная запись, в духе VC-04.
Имеется ещё два релиза, кроме вышеупомянутого:
2006 - The Red Dream (скачивал с официального сайта)
2006 - Astral Birth [EP] (скачивал отсюда)
У кого имеются другие релизы - прошу поделиться.
Кстати, на одном из них есть кавер на Velvet Cacoon.

Atropine extracts of henbane were used by Cleopatra to dilate her pupils to appear more alluring. In the Renaissance, women used the juice of belladonna berries to enlargen the pupils of their eyes for cosmetic reasons (in Italian, "bella donna" translates to "beautiful lady"). Later on, belladonna was used by witches before flight. The juice of the berries was applied to their vaginas resulting in massive and sometimes lethal dosages of atropine. In this state of unbelievable hallucinatory incoherence, they believed they were actually flying on their brooms and as they spoke aloud their spells the results unfolded right before their eyes.

This album was carefully created over a four year period under the closely supervised influence of mandrake, hemlock, datura stramonium, henbane, belladonna and jesaconitine isolate. Most of the drone library was originally recorded to DAT and buried in the ground for two years before reviving them for use.

Первый раз прослушав "Genevieve", не в рубился в очарование наркотической дымки этой музыки. Подумал, что просто кто-то решил записать шум напоминающий депрессив блэк и зарелизить это все ради прикола или еще по какой-то причине. Но потом вслушался и понял, что этот шум мне нравится. Звук действительно необычный и оригинальный. Есть в нем какая-то неуловимая утонченность, что ли...

Velvet Cacoon's shoegazer / psych-folk recordings were stolen albums. ``How the Last Day Came and Stayed then Faded into Simulated Rain`` demo was almost completely stolen from Korouva's ``Shipwrecks & Russian Roulette``. Korouva's album has 10 tracks, while VC's demo has 9, though two tracks that can be found in Korouva's Myspace are not in VC's demo. The ``Dizzy from Eternity`` demo is in fact My Violent Ego's ``Clicks & Hisses``. Видимо, он об этом (IMG:style_emoticons/default/25.gif)
