Baal was a side-project of the band Aasmorod, formed by members of Thorn and Maleficum Orgia. The band splitted right after the release of their second demo-tape. They played raw black-metal in the vein of Beherit, Sarcófago, Profanatica.
Before Hexcraft and Witchcraft they had a promo-tape out called "A shape on the moon".
