"Teutonic Hell"? What a stupid translation. Even if it may correct somewhat, it doesn`t make sense. For example: "Teutonische Hölle" would be the back translation, but it`s "In der Hölle spricht man Deutsch". It`s not even close, since teutonic is just a term like being pagan or heathen...it`s everything but not "Deutsch", herrje. Stupid band.

Yes the band has done good music, but since their release "Fuck Humanity" they have shown that they lyrically are more than a joke. Even as a humoristic band. As example by "Fuck Humanity / Menschenhass", in the german version he always sings about hating humans, how he hates humans...okay. But i think it`s a difference to say "Fuck Humanity" or "Hate Humanity". It may be correct more or less, but still it`s a difference, because of the meaning. And for a band like Debauchery, which is a well known band, such poor mistakes are in my opinion a shame. Another example by "Teutonic Hell / In der Hölle spricht man Deutsch": It`s not only about the grammar itself. German language mostly works spoken, sounding. And spelling / singing "In der Hölle spricht man Deutsch..." just sound more harsh (and may open references to one or an other person). "Teutonic Hell" is, it just...i dunno. It sounds soulless, that`s it. |

Все таки очень жаль, что группа отошла от совмещения АС/ДС и дэт-н-ролла, очень уж круто у них получалось. Я, в принципе, уже понял, что подобного мы больше не услышим, поэтому сабж зашел на ура - сочные риффы, хитовый материал и безудержный угар. Как ни крути, а Debauchery в подобном стиле, пожалуй, лучшие. Но все таки жаль, да...
