Всё в кучу смешали: визги а-ля Funeralium, трад-думовый вокал, рычание, причем совершенно невпопад настроению гитарных партий
Прошлые альбомы не слушал, если и там такое же, значит не много потерял

Всего 4 композиции включает в себя альбом финнов, но все эти треки ооочень длиннющие - от 13-ти до 15-ти с половиной минут! И знаете, то, как вы втянетесь в альбом (плохо ли/хорошо, холодно ли/жарко), в немалой степени будет зависеть от вашего выбора композиции, которую послушаете первой. Я вот, по своей традиции, начал с самой длинной Visions, и мои впечатления были следующими: жирный и тяжёлый дэт/дум, сопровождаемый басовитым гроулом, иногда переходящим в кричащий скриминг; музыка часто впадает в настроение светлой грусти, навевая лично мне в такие моменты, именно в части настроения, первый альбом Flowing Tears & Withered Flowers; хорошая музыка, мне понравилось; и забегая вперёд - возможно, лучший номер альбома. Впрочем, следующий ...They All Await Me When I Break The Shackles Of Flesh тоже очень хорош: полное вокальное разнообразие - чистый, кричащий, скрим, гроул... похоже, всё это, или почти всё - голосовые проделки одного человека, лидера группы Маркуса Хейнонена; жёсткие и слегка эпичные рифы, несущие в себе симпатичный мелодизм; ударные сносно держат ритм, но никакого разнообразия не несут, а вот бас, напротив, очень даже хорош - например, басовое соло 04:30-05:40 великолепно! И да, ещё вот что - если у данной команды и есть трад, то именно в ...They All Await Me он просматривается наиболее рельефно. Первые два (по порядку трек-листа) долгоиграющих трека, честно говоря, понравились мне несколько меньше - они, может быть, качественно не хуже (или ненамного хуже), но суммарно существенно менее тяжелы и более лиричны. The Towers практически совсем не содержит дэта, а больше тяготеет к траду, или даже к депрессивному думу; тоже местами изящно. Channel Sleep начинается (первые 01:30) с лирических клавишных, а в дальнейшем по ходу композиции финны снова устраивают вокальный "шведский стол" - тут тебе и приятный чистый традовый, и грозный гроулинг, и воплеобразный скриминг... Качество записи - отличное. Настроение грустное, но хорошо, что не сваливаются в полный депрессив и безнадёгу - как раз-таки нет, удерживаются. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) Послушал альбом не без удовольствия. Работа на "4 с плюсом", или даже на "5 с минусом". 8.5/10
