The brutal 2018 studio album from the reinvigorated UK Death Metal legends Cancer.

Cancer marks 30 years of existence with its sixth full-length studio album that reunites all three original core members - John Walker (guitar/vocals), Ian Buchanan (bass) and Carl Stokes (drums) - for the first time since 1995.
The album features ten songs of brutal old school Death Metal and was recorded at Foel studios with Simon Efemey (Paradise Lost, Napalm Death, Amorphis) handling production and mixing duties alongside the band.

чей-та? рак котировался тогда не меньше грандов жанра, вернее в ровень, а грандов было тогда с десяток (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif) к слову в конце 80х у них гостили на подпевках некие Бентон и Тарди, у КАЖДОГО фэна дэта того времени на равне с обитурами, дэзами, аутопси и прочими дисайдами были первые три альбома формации (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye.gif) а уж дебютник так вообще узнаваемый тренд с топором в башке, ну как например морбидовская планета черепов

Как я и пророчил, песенка про Гарроту с тизера оказалась самой боевой.

В такой музыке, не слишком то изысканной, но, имеющей в загашнике хорошую риффовку, главное не останавливаться. Не скатываться во все эти невнятные замедления совершенно бесталанные. Вы же не Асфикс - те как раз в ускорения скатываются))
Был бы материал поплотнее и поживее - вполне годился бы для звукового сопровождения ,ну, там, уборки в доме, например. А так запаривают все эти бубнилки.

Ну не знай, я и тогда, в начале 90-ых, с прохладцей относился к этому ансамблю и сейчас тоже не огонь. Что этот альбом, что их дебютник, который начал переслушивать по окончании оного.
У меня к CANCER отношение как MORGOTH и MERCYLESS - у всех этих команд в середине их творчества был какой-то "поворот не туда" откуда они вернулись более-менее.

Не плохо, не плохо... больше нравится сейчас, особено после тайтл-трак который очень бодрый дет оказался. Но по принципе грустно, темно работают; получился микс между Bolt Thrower и Benediction.

я помню, что в фэнзинах начала 90-х Cancer всегда называли death metal группой №1 из Англии. Хотя мне всегда больше нравились Bolt Thrower.

Да, точно, метала сидит в Китае, и нашел етот переводчик здесь для которым он платит двеста долларов в час... просто могу его позволить, самый дешевый здесь был.

А Cancer и в прошлому, и сейчас представителей второго разряда; я вполне уверен что они очень хорощо знают свой статут, и что его они никогда не успеют перескочить.
