Behind the name STAROFASH is musician and songwriter Heidi Solberg Tveitan, also known as Ihriel from the experimental metal act Peccatum. After several years of releases and tours in Europe and USA with Peccatum, she debuted as a solo artist in 2001 with the record “Iter.Viator” (Jester Records/VME). According to the trendsetting magazine Kerrang! Heidi has “…given women in extreme music a name by going it alone with her Star of Ash solo project”, and was by the magazine regarded as one of “21 women who are changing the world right now”

Красиво.В эмбиентно-трипхоповое полотно искусно вплетены нотки безумия Peccatum.Отличная умная музыка.Можно найти некоторые отсылки к поздним Ulver или The Gathering,но проект Star Of Ash вполне самобытен.Ну,а вокал Хайди просто завораживает.9/10 от Старика Вяйне

Насчёт "отсылок к поздним Ульвер" я вам скажу: Ириэль в одном из интервью говорила, что у неё Ульвер - один из главнейших источников вдохновения. Ну и дружат они...

Да, одна из любимейших вокалисток. Хотя в пеккатумский Lost in Reverie я так и не въехала. А с этого альбома больше всего прут Odi et Amo (особенно с 4:55)) и Death Salutes Atropos.
