After six month of rehearsals, the band was formed in April 1990 in Kalisz – initially known as Conqeror. The line-up consisted on Artur Wieczorek, another unknown guitarist, drummer Arkadiusz Przybył and lead vocalist Olbracht Jackowski. They experienced formation changes with the departure of the above-mentioned unknown guitar player. A bassist whose name remains also unknown was subsequently incorporated.

In July 1992, the bassist left – his duties were taken by Jackowski himself. New guitarist Michał Ciecierski was then introduced. This formation, under the name Conqeror, played at the Core-Rida in Wałczu and took part in the band contest to play the Jarocin festival.

In early 1993, Tomasz Banach replaced Wieczorek. In March, the band changed its name to Cinis and recorded 3 death metal songs at one of Radio Centrum’s studios in their home city for a cassette entitled Promo Tape 93. The group manager at the time, Michał Szulc, designed the band-logo as well. In the second-half of the year, Tomasz Korkosz took Banach’s duties.

In January 1994, they headed into the CKiS Studio to record new material for the album ...And I Saw Red. The record was initially released through Carnage Records but half a year later, after some disagreements with Mariusz Kmiołek, both parts agreed to terminate the record deal. The album was distributed by SPV Poland.

In 1995, they signed with I&E SPM Records – releasing a self-titled EP, originally recorded in 1993, plus another promo featuring keyboardist Peter Rudowicz the following year.
