Актуальная тема и назрела давно.

Практика закрытия тем с низким битрейтом при появлении высокого качества очень плоха и порочна ибо:

Теряются ценные комментарии, рекомендации и целые ветки рассуждений.

Добавление ссылок на качество в лоу битрейт темах позволяет сохранить все вышеперечисленное, а также подобные темы могут также переноситься в раздел New Releases.


Достаточно большое количество пользователей считает необходимым и резонным этот шаг.


Уважаемые господа, Вы за?


Просьба высказаться.


Надеюсь, по итогам администрация исправит этот небольшой архаизм, который крайне неудобен. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)

так, стой. а зачем тебе нужны старые темы после появления релизов в качестве??? закрыть её и создать новую. чтобы красиво было. я за это

но их же всё равно не сносят. сколько я раз уже спрашивал: "можно ли заново оформить, т.к. тут всё коряво и ещё в низком качестве? а у меня есть поширше"

а в годах 2006-08 тут, вообще всё коряво делали. ашыпки в тегах сплошь. дурачки понаписывали "трэш" везде где не лень. и обложки где? они что, поисчезали все хором? в моих заливах почему-то тоже иногда облоги пропадали

Ок, чел кидает хорошую ссылку в модераторку, вы её чекаете - и прикрепляете к лоу-теме, перенося её в новые релизы. Поможет не на 100%, ибо далеко не каждый фигачит новую тему для высоких битрейтов, ну хоть как-то.

Borderline1991, нужно убрать разделение тем на low, HQ, lossless. УЖЕ имеющиеся новости оставить как есть, новые же никуда не перемещать.

Ввиду того, что голосувалку как то не получается сделать, большая просьба лайками в шапке темы поддержать предложение по данной проблеме. Если вы - за инициативу (с компромиссами), то лайкните плиз.

exactly. so people who come to see what's new today, would have trouble finding it. They'd have to dig and know what they are searching for. So much complications and confusion.
Plus, I really dislike the idea of someone just adding bad stream rip and then many people downloading it and then it starts spreading and circulating everywhere, from web to p2p apps... It's best if people immediately get to proper high bitrate and download that.

Also, how to put all users on "moderator preview" when they wish to post? I can put you on moderator preview so I can preview and approve (or not) each post you write, but I can't put 25 000 registered users on moderator preview option for posting comments in topic.
AND - of course - moderator would have to download each link, check if it is upconvert/transcode or not by downloading and opening files in Audacity to see spectra. Imagine how much time this would take. Not every moderator works through computer, some do work when on phone. Imagine how much traffic this takes. How much time. It's more than a full time job. We already sometimes aren't enough even to moderate Audio buffer on time, so releases wait. It is voluntary work. It should be done simple and organized as a team - the way it suits everyone, without unnecessary complications.

honestly, a much better idea than this (for me) would be - to create metalarea.org logo shirts (as in old times before I was on site) and send to users who deserved them in some way. VIPs, mods, contributors, people who are useful and care for the site. I'd love to wear a metalarea logo shirt. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)
for example, Deze as user of the year deserved one.

Back in the days there was a limited edition of t shirts and a lot of MA users from SPB wore it like Vyane, Bloodn Lord...

But that MA logo isn`t that good and reminds of low budget grindcore bands so it`s good that there hasn`t been any additional editions printed (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif)

Да можно просто с определенного момента по новым правилам все делать и все.

это можно делать самому, если релиз твой (правда, тебе это не грозит)

а, вообще, значение не имеет, в каком месте находится ссылка. релиз всё равно вылазит в новостях

При делании этого самому есть ряд проблем:

1. Многие заливаторы не парятся над этим по ряду причин - нет времени, все релизы не упомнить, привычнее кинуть ссылку просто в обсуждение и т.д.

2. Лишняя работа для модеров.

3. Не все юзеры на это обращают внимание и все равно будут воспрошать - Где качество, дайте 320 и т.д.
