From 1644-1647, Scotland was in the grip of a fierce Civil War. A Rebel group called the Covenanters fought to claim de facto control of the country, but ultimately failed after a series of bloody battles. Many of them lay buried beneath their Prison at Greyfriars Kirkyard in Edinburgh.
This demo is dedicated to them.

Raw black metal with field samples taken by the artist at the very site of their gaol. Artwork and Bagpipes captured in Edinburgh in 2017 and adapted for this release.
