ИМХО, Сабатон иногда чем-то в быстрых песнях напоминает Хаммерфолл (ибо шведы фсё-таки (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile3.gif) ) , иногда даже Мановар (военной тематикой наверно (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dwarf-1.gif) ), а вообще очень своеобразный, гимноподобный (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dooo.gif) и главное клевый музон! Все альбомы на уровне, просто чума! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/roll.gif) У меня на работе даже парни, далекие от металла, слушают! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/20.gif) Ну и главное, на каждом альбоме есть песня про ВОВ, про то как наши деды Родину-мать защищали и фашиста били! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif)

А ещё примечательно то, что вокалист даже и не пытается скрывать свой вовсе не британский акцент, а рубит как есть. Иногда даж кажется, что он на немецком шпарит (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif)

Переслушивал альбом последние три дна на работу и обратно. Со шведами я впервые познакомился на The Art of War, затем зафанател от любимого Coat of Arms, который плющится на моей полочке. Primo Victoria никогда не была одухотворена, первый раз - для галочки, второй раз покрутилась в ушной раковине во время одной из поездок. Недавно был третий подход.
Понял, что знаю этот альбом, когда пёхал в "Норман", посмотреть нормальное алко, а там оказалось бабай прошёл и на полках полная шляпа покоится. Иду по направлению к нему - а в ушах Броден на Panzer Battalion разрывается. Вот такие ассоциации и останутся. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/25.gif)
А Primo Victoria тоже надо когда-нибудь взять, полочка без неё пуста, гранёный стакан только поставить можно. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/9.gif)

Францисканера в этот гранёный стакан налить, и разделать оливку!

Ещё один альбом, извлеченный из пыльного загашника. Не слушал его много лет, включил - а впечатления такие, будто крутил его регулярно многие годы подряд. Настолько знакомым кажется. Разве что впечатления до сих пор отличные.
Все так же напоминает своим эпическим "душком", претенциозностью, мелодизмом Theli от Therion. А яркие гитарные соло до сих пор предвосхищаются, словно призраки, явившиеся из глубин памяти.
Заглавный трэк, конечно, с самого начала рвёт нейтральное настроение в клочья, настраивая на боевой и мажорный лад. Впрочем, и на протяжении всего альбома есть чем восхититься: песни Reign of Terror, Counterstrike, Stalingrad нагло следуют направлению заданного движения. Отдельно необходимо упомянуть вокал Йоакима Бродена (он крайне удачно вписывается в общее звучание) и замороченность авторов лирики на исторических темах.
