Подходит к концу первая четверть 2015-го года, а релизы из года прошлого никак не хотят подходить к концу, хотя иногда я даже сомневаюсь, что этого хочу. Вот например сей сплит мексиканского дуэта Majestic Downfall и австралийцев The Slow Death выплыл благодаря свежему релизу последних.
Контраст между обеими бандами конечно же разителен. У Majestic Downfall всегда был крепкий мелодик дэт/дум, очень напоминавший американские команды, игращие в том же стиле. На сплите изменения есть в пользу более жесткого музла, стало поменьше мелодик дэта, хотя из стиля я все же его бы не исключал. Материал же The Slow Death вообще не предвещает изменений, коснувшихся команду на последующем полноформате, хоть и нотки фьюнерала проскакивают, но в общем материал больше напоминает предпоследний теперь уже «II», чем новый «Ark».
Но в общем сплит просто потрясный и порадовал пожалуй не меньше, чем сплит My Shameful и Who Dies In Siberian Slush. Надеюсь, что следующий альбом мексиканского дуэта будет не менее крутым!
