Пока прогнал стрим-версию с просторов ютуба пару раз.
По музыкальной форме - пересушенный техничный дэтх а-ля Of What's to Come / Portals to Canaan. Все хорошо, за тем лишь исключением, что череда гостей, вызвавшихся исполнить вокальные партии в итоге не способствует целостности восприятия. Штучно все слушается прекрасно, но все вместе создает ощущение недосказанности и выглядит набором каверов. Очевидно, что целью было завершить некогда начатое, такая дань уважения от братвы. Есть в этом что-то трогательное...

... но пока ощущение такое, что отсутствие альбома Nucleus на вашей полке с собранием сочинений Deeds of Flesh никак не скажется на полноте дискографии.

блин раньше фишка была отсутствие соло и брутальный материал.. а это ерунда полная в духе других релизов с юникулидера -прикоренный пластиковый звук, и соляки их напихано повсюду и ни одного в тему ужс

По первому впечатлению неплохо. Но все таки от Deeds Of Flesh ждешь более жесткой музыки и брутального саунда. А тут с мелодичностью немного переборщили и соляки как к месту так и мимо. Хотя повторюсь первое впечатление скорее положительное чем нет. Чуть позже вернусь к повторному прослушиванию

not only, the major problem is the bad production; drums sounds like shit and overral feeling is sterile and about something incomplete, unfinished. it's hard to listen and enjoy, like the last Malevolent Creation album. damn i hate modern productions, this is also why my interest in new music has vanished.

Насчет чрезмерной мелодичности здесь явно преувеличивают, хотя, эпизодические соляки очень к месту. Весьма крепкий альбом и саунд неплох, в меру жесткий, до "пластиковости" большей части современного техно-дэта тоже далековато. Зачет.

Ну что сказать...
Первое впечатление - неплохо конечно, но недо-Deeds of Flesh. Как ни прискорбно и вполне естественно, Еденица ушла вместе с Линдмарком.

Здесь мы имеем менее сложный, более жидкий и легкоусваиваемый и разбавленый мелодиями и соло материал.
Такое хорошо подойдёт тем "нежным ушам" которые не врубаются в реально плотный и навороченый брутал.
Лично для меня он почти фоном пролетел, и кроме того что это легкое продолжение космо-постапокалиптичной трилогии начатой на 2008 я ничего не вынес.
Вчера ,специально переслушивал Mark of the Legion и Portals to Canaan (который похож на этот новый но качественно мощнее). Вот там, что в старой что в новой ипостати группы реальное удовольствие. И лишь сильнее ощущается разница между настоящим ДоФ и новым.

Нет, альбом приятный, слушать однозначно буду. Но не торт.

Напишу так, альбом полностью продолжение того что у Lindmarkа стало получаться начиная с Of What's to Come - музыкальная брутальность, что есть у SUFFOCATION и отчасти у DYING FETUS, ну может у SEVERED SAVIOR (но от этих чот давно уже ничего не было), может что то было у FLESH CONSUMED и даже у BROKEN HOPE. В общем вот это всё...
