"Hanging In The Balance". Решительно самая слабая работа группы. "Masterpeace" наполовину состоящий из тоски зелёной и то содержит в себе куда больше веяний легендарных работ.


Альбом бесспорно хороший. Отдельный "литр пива" Майку - отвокалил не хуже Вэйна.
В который раз, когда переслушиваю альбомы 1991-92 годов, задаюсь вопросом, куда вдруг у большинства апологетов трэша, через год-два исчезла та молодецкая прыть?! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/13.gif) Даже в рамках дискографии Метал Церкви, на упомянутом выше "Hanging In The Balance" вышел угловатой traditional metal, являвшийся мерклой размытой тенью обсуждаемого здесь релиза.

Для меня Hanging in the Balance является практически эталоном металлического альбома. Все песни, как на подбор (вот честно, никогда не выберу здесь лучшего номера). Майк Хау просто бесподобно поёт, очень жаль, что после тура к этому альбому он навсегда оставил музыку...
Зато на The Human Factor присутствует In Harm's Way (пожалуй, любимая вещь Церкви ever). До сих пор мурашки табунами бегают при прослушивании. Высшего балла так же достойны крышесносящие The Final Word и In Mourning, а вот закончить альбом на высокой ноте у ребят не получилось - три последние песни иначе как "времязаполнителями" (пусть и добротными, но это не уровень MC) не назовёшь.

Давно определился. "Фактор" очень хороший альбом, но "Хэнгинг" более ровный, без видимых провисаний. Кому-то может не нравится стилистический отход музыкантов от ранних альбомов, но это уже их трудности. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/12.gif)
А уж "размытая тень" это скорее к трём последним работам коллектива с Ронни Монро (из-за вокала в том числе, да) относится. Но даже там, чёрт побери, есть что послушать (и беззубейший Masterpieces они всё-таки уделывают - вот уж где с ними импотенция творческая случилась). Вандерхуф, кстати, новую пластинку активно готовит, утверждая, что она, дескать, будет в духе дебютника и The Dark.
