Extended info
Originally released in November 1974, "Stormbringer" (featuring the Mark 3 line-up of the band that included David Coverdale on Vocals and Glenn Hughes on Bass Guitar) was the ninth studio album by Deep Purple, and prominetly featured the soul and funk elements that were only hinted at on previous album "Burn". Sounding just as fresh as it did on original release, this 35th anniversary special edition comes with a crisp new remaster, and a host of collectable extras. Comprising the remastered 9-track original album plus 4 tracks remixed by Glenn Hughes at Abbey Road (especially for this release), an instrumental version of "High Ball Shooter".

Это был первый номерной альбом, который я послушал у purple. Тогда он мне казался ужасно энергичным и офигенным. А сейчас... скучен, скучен, скучен. Разве что Lady Double Dealer и, с большой натяжкой, High Ball Shooter. Soldier of Fortune - хоть и всемирно известная баллада, но тоже страдает минорным настроением.
