RWP Hymn [Single] (2022)
This is Running Wild Production´s Label Anthem with 8 different hymns and a coat of arms especially designed for this release. What started in February 2022 as a non-committal song request from our label to WITHDRAW turned into a wonderful project. This incredibly talented musician (WITEGE) has not only written one anthem for us – no! – a bunch of eight versions followed until August - one better than the other. It´s not just the same song played in different styles but in fact eight standalone-songs sharing the same musical theme, one of our absolute favorites from 1991. Each song features its own interpretation of the the main theme, new variations, different lyrics, alternate musical and vocal style. EN: Explain to me what the hell this is. At first I thought it was another tribute to pirates. Followed the link to bandcamp and it's a bunch of bullshit. What the hell is this? In fact this is a kind of pirate tribute (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile3.gif) in case you call Running Wild a "pirate" band. It´s their song Blazon Stone interpreted in various styles. If you´re not into Black Metal or alike you won´t like it, that´s fair. Fans of Heavy Metal could check out Austrian Metal News – Vol. 2, that might rather be your taste. |
