Greek Black Metal. Melodic, some chants. It's not soulless and can't be in case of Acherontas, but lacks something. I prefer their earlier albums.

Как по мне, лучший альбом проекта со времен «Vamachara». Трилогия Formulas была неплохой, но вот этот альбом приятно порадовал. Ничего лишнего, все на месте.

I prefer Theosis than Vamachara. After Amarta this band sounds less interesting. Maybe this album needs some more time.

Yes, Acherontas deserves attention. I had to listen to Faustian Ethos more times than previous albums to finally appreciate it. I will give this one a chance for sure.

Года до 2016 я был прям поклонником Acherontas. Такие альбомы как Vamachara и конечно же фаворит Ma-IoN это просто KVLT для меня. Но потом, с каждым новым альбомом в моем понимании и восприятии они начали становится все более блёклыми и утопающими в бесконечных самоповторах. Конечно же проблески имеются на каждом из их альбомов, но это 1-2 песни от общего материала. Этот альбом к сожалению не стал исключением, здесь есть Κiss the Blood и The Offering of Hemlock которые "тянут" в верх то, что должно оставаться внизу - если выражаться аллегориями понятными поклонникам этого оккультного ковена. За весь хронометраж альбома который длится чуть больше 50 минут моему уху здесь больше не за что уцепится. И это печалит. Как и два последних альбома Psychic Death скорее всего для коллекции я покупать не буду. Хотя конечно же второй шанс я ему дам ближе к концу года, когда придет время подводить итоги и составлять своеобразные ТОП'ы

Неоднозначная, странная, но притягивающая внимание группа, которая имеет в своем репертуаре как удивительные магические номера, так и проходную шляпу. Никогда особо не считал себя фанатом это группы в полном смысле, но всегда жду новые релизы и затаив дыхание нажимаю кнопку "play". Тащусь от их декламаций периодических)

Что-то опять перемудрили Ахеронтасы. Вроде бы и есть проблески неплохих мелодий, например, но все равно получается понятная только им херомудь и сумбур.
Ребята они созидательные, могут когда хотят, но последние годы у них наметилась гонка релизов... Выдавать полноформат раз в год-полтора, это уже уровень обязаловки без вдохновения и рутинная работа. Получилась скучная вымученная пластинка, убивающая час времени.

Серьезно, у них там Agonia Record над душой с розгами стоит что ли?

К большому сожалению и к не очень большому удивлению этот альбом разочаровал. Как и все что выходило под эгидой Acherontas с 2015 года. Последние альбомы содержат в себе как минимум один трек который цепляет, а весь оставшийся материал звучит вымученно и заезженно. Группа безусловно талантливая, но и они наступили на грабли чрезмерной продуктивности, когда количество знатно ухудшило качество.

This album demands some time to appreciate it. Finally it's a solid release in the vein of early Greek Black Metal. In this case melodies create mystical, ritualistic and Occult atmosphere. Not some cheerful noise. Good album!
