Для металла этот альбом имел первостепенное значение - дал название жанру, каноническая обложка, музыка, послужившая источником вдохновения для каждого играющего блэк и прочий метал. Этот альбом действительно великолепен - замечательная атмосферная музыка, которая являет собой всё то же, что и первый альбом, но теперь это все намного лучше реализовано. Качество записи выросло на порядок, как и структурность музыки. Каждую песню отсюда можно ставить на алтарь метала/рока, ибо они безупречны от начала до конца - и по музыке и по вокалу и по драйву и по запоминаемости и по атмосферности. Краткость сего релиза тоже идёт ему на руку, так как больше слышать было бы утомительно, меньше - недостаточно.
