José "Turdinator" Luis Ibave - Guitars (lead) (tracks 2, 3, 5, 9, 11, 12)

Oink! This album comes from a place of anger, but also from being tired. Tired of seeing the world eat itself alive. Tired of how easily we look away from destruction when it’s dressed up as progress. Tired of the way greed keeps grinding everything down - forests, rivers, oceans, even people - until there’s nothing left but smoke and silence.

A lot of these songs are about collapse. About the earth being stripped, poisoned, and sold piece by piece. About the way war and profit are always holding hands. About the rats in suits who laugh in comfort while others are forced to pay the price. And about the sickness of watching it all turn into content - where death becomes just another background for someone’s perfect angle online.

But this record isn’t only despair. It’s a mad ride - I believe everyone will find something here. From raw grindcore and rotten deathgrind, to an unexpected opera part where I scream in falsetto. From chaotic blastbeats and twisted noise breaks, to freakish solos that shouldn’t even exist. There’s harsh noise, industrial, hard style, random percussion chaos, nature sounds and yes - even some sung moments. It’s unhinged, unpredictable, and brutally alive.

The main spine of “Avalanche” runs through tracks 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 - that’s where the narrative and the pulse live. Tracks 4 (the section I call “Noise for Gaza”) and 7 (“Noise for You”) are more like experiments - miniature gore-cyber-noise-metal collages stitched together for the connoisseurs of pure sonic carnage shit. Think of them like detours in Hopscotch - you can include them in your experience if you want to go deeper into the chaos, or skip them for a more cohesive ride through the avalanche. Try both ways. See what fits. Play with the order. You can even treat them as a hidden EP within the album.

And don’t be fooled by the number of tracks. There may be 12, but in reality there are 24. Tracks 4 and 7 are Frankensteined together from multiple short sonic bombs - raw, violent micro-songs that no streaming platform would even count as “plays” because they explode in under 30 seconds. They exist purely for those who want to taste the real ultra-violence beneath the surface.

This album isn’t about hope or solutions. It’s about refusing to look away. It’s grief, rage, disgust, and inevitability turned into sound. If it feels chaotic and ugly - that’s because the world is too. And when the avalanche swallows us, it’ll only be giving us exactly what we asked for.
