Давненько что-то Врест на радует новыми альбомами...
Хотя может оно даже к лучшему. Лучше меньше да лучше.
До сих пор периодически гоняю этот альбом в плэере, в взял на СД в итоге, в дистро тоже есть копии.

Масштабная, величественная, монументальная работа, обладающая эффектом погружения. Музыка вызывает ассоциации с мрачными подводными ландшафтами (например, описанными Лавкрафтом в рассказе "Храм"), созданию такого ощущения помогает отстранённый "примоченный" вокал, а нагнетание атмосферы в некоторых медленных частях (в Merging With Sword... или в самом начале Made As The Stale Wine...) помогает почти физически ощутить давление многокилометровой толщи воды. Скоростные блэковые проходы не столько яростны и злобны, сколько "отрешённы", рождают ощущение нахождения "по ту сторону", изолированности от привычного мира, существования других пространств с другими принципами и законами (тоже Лавкрафтовская тема, кстати). Кульминация всего этого - почти тринадцатиминутный блэк-эмбиентный эпик Noisome Ash Crown, мракобесие с гипнотическим эффектом.

Очень интересное направление. Может, кто-нибудь подскажет что-то подобное? (Darkspace не предлагать)
