18 декабря на официальном майспейсе группа объявила о прекращении своего существования.
Another Messiah quit I listened, motionless and still; And, as I mounted up the hill, The music in my heart I bore, Long after it was heard no more. With sadness in their hearts, Another Messiah have decided that enough is enough. The band quit. There's one final chance to share in this Dutch metal furor: 23 january 2009 the band hits the stage of Merleyn Nijmegen for their last rockhard metal orgy. Be there: it's the last opportunity. Venue opens at 21:00, support acts Bulldozer Breed and Burn the Iris blast off at 22:00.
