Ну собственно сабж.

я конечно понимаю что вопрос для дума банальный (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif)
но хотелось бы расширить свои познания по данному вопросу...

приветствуются различные малоизвестные/забытые группы
желательно в формате: группа - альбом
т.к. всем известны примеры когда на одном альбоме группы скрипка есть а на другом уже нет.

вобщем кто что знает - велкам. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)

Lethargy (Grc) - "The Dark Embrace Of Silence" (1999) ~ Obscure greek band with lots of violins, female vocals, some flutes, and very melodic, highly recommended

Adagio (Bra) - "Romantic Serenades" (1999) ~ Very Gothic and Melodic Doom, not quite as many violins, but they still show up occasionally, and they have nice keyboards and a rich, Gothic atmosphere

Tristania - "Widow's Weeds" (1998) ~ Surprised no one's mentioned this one yet. Their best album, VERY gothic with great violins and keys from Pete from The Sins of Thy Beloved (also excellent btw!). The next album "Beyond The Veil" (1999) is also quite good, but more up-beat Gothic metal styled and not as Doomy as this one

Desire (Prt) - "Locus Horrendus - The Night Cries of a Sullen Soul" (2002) ~ No violins here, but the growls & rasps along with well placed keyboards, slick production, and occasional female vocs. make this one of the most atmospheric Doom albums you'll ever find!

Some others to check out (Sorry If already mentioned, not all have violins, but definately enjoyable for the Gothic/Melodic Doom crowd (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) )

- Estatic Fear
- Swallow The Sun
- Ablaze In Hatred
- AGLAROND
- AMBER TEARS
- Elegeion
- Inborn Suffering
- Amederia
- Kimaera
- Necare (violins on their 1st demo!)
- Celestial Season (First 2 albums)
- Celestial Crown
- Faded Serena (nice violins here!)
- THE HOWLING VOID [SYMPHONIC Funeral Doom]
- THE SLOW DEATH
- SHATTERED HOPE (Grc)
- DIMNESS THROUGH INFINITY
- MAJESTIC DOWNFALL
- WHISPERING FOREST (Occasional violins and Gothic atmosphere)
- LYCANTHIA (nice violins on their EP)
- Otkroveniya Dozhdya (one of the better FUNERAL Doom type bands)

ребята, может кто напомнить название группы думо-детовой из Австралии, со скрипкой, по типу МДБ? играют еще минимум с 1993 года. искал тут в темах, помню что где-то была, но так и не нашел.

Funeral Frost, она у меня есть. а у той, которая имеется в виду, первый лонгплей вышел в 1993 году. у этих в 96м.

наверное ты путаешь с Disembowelment. но у них нет скрипки.
да и других групп в австралии подходящих под твое описание - нет.

или может Paramaecium?
у них немного скрипки было... да и на МДБ они не очень похожи...

Llvme - "Fogeira de Sueños" (2010)

New Doom band that uses some nice violins, sort of a folky atmosphere, but still very nice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)
