Tetrafusion is an instrumental progressive metal/experimental band based out of
Shreveport, Louisiana. Tetrafusion was formed in October of 2006 when Gary
Tubbs, Mark Michell, and J.C. Bryant had a strong desire to form a small side
project trio playing jazz and slow jam music locally. During the first rehearsal
of this newly formed side project, the first riff written is what became the
intro riff for "Inertia". Prior to their formation, bassist Mark Michell was a
member of another local artist by the name of Altered State, an alternative rock
influenced trio with guitarist Paul Turner and drummer Brooks Tarkington, who
had also played guitar. Keeping in touch with Brooks long after Altered State
had disbanded, the two had tossed around the idea of adding a guitarist into
their side project. After sending the early demos of "Inertia" his way, Brooks
was quite impressed and offered to fulfill guitar duties to become the group's
official guitarist. Thus, Tetrafusion was formed. Becoming more innovative in
their music, the band had a change of mind and decided to become a progressive
metal/experimental band. They continued to write music in the months following,
played several local shows, and self-produced a low-quality demo until they were
able to finance professional recordings. A year later, they were finally ready
to record their newly written material, and tapped QueenSix Productions to
professionally record and produce their first full-length album "Absolute Zero",
an instrumental concept album depicting the birth, life, and death of the
universe. After the upcoming release of "Absolute Zero" in early 2009, the band
plans to incorporate vocals in future material to continue to develop an
original sound for their style.

Дебютный инструментальный альбом новой штатовской формации.
Сначала раз 5-6 прослушал в фоновом режиме - неплохо-неплохо, очень интересно.
А потом надел наушники и... ищите меня, люди, я улетел. И не обещал вернуться!
Жесткие гитары, ведущий бас, гениальное фортепьяно, что там еще? По-моему, альт был не менее гениальный. Всего и не упомнишь, ибо я растворился в музыке полностью.
Вот сейчас позволю себе сказать одну вещь, которую до сих пор не говорил ни разу на этом форуме:
мне искринне жаль тех, кто не слушал этот шедевр в наушниках. Это редкое счастье.

проект образовался в 2006 году и планировался как трио джаз бэнд-что из этого получилось предлагаю послушать///
технично-изобретательно-интересно и не под копирку-классный коллектив...это настоящий прогрессив! в котором легко можно найти влияние многих групп, но в целом они играют нечто свое, уникальное...таких групп мало.

музыка лежит в областях близких к Symphony X,Liquid Tension Experiment, Dream Theater, King Crimson, Cynic....

Так хотел релиз похвалить, благо эмоций после прослушивания - море, а опосля вышевысказавшихся уже вроде и нужды нет,.. ё, и опоздал-то всего на несколько месяцев (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile2.gif)
Круто, вот.

Если верить доп.инфе, упоминающей джаз / джемы и моему фьджнметру, знаковых величин не показавшему, в студии кое-то было положено на алтарь мелодичности и прилизанности. Суровые продюсеры такие суровые. Буду надеяться, с следующий раз ребятам додут больше свободы.

У этой команды получается создавать просто фантастическую музыку! С одной стороны-Они не вероятно техничны.С другой -

"чертовски музыкальны".Нет той заумности и выпендривания-типа смотрите как мы можем!Все на своих местах,там где и должно быть.
нет не одного лишнего удара или лишней ноты.Все просто идеально!
