GOD SEED — норвежская группа, образованная бывшими участниками GORGOROTH King'ом и Gaahl'ем — выпустит концертный DVD “Live at Wacken” 21-го октября в Европе и 25-го октябра в Северной Америке на Indie Recordings. DVD будет содержать выступление группы на Wacken Open Air-2008 перед семьюдесятью пятью тысячами фэнов.

Шоу в Вакене было рекострукцией “Black Mass” GORGOROTH, снятого в Кракове в 2004-м году. На концерте присутствовали овечьи головы на сцене, обнажённые и распятые модели, сатанинские символы и восемь литров овечьей крови.

Помимо DVD будет досупен и концертный CD. Альбом выйдет в дигипаке, в котором будет помещён рассказ группы о создании этого шоу.

Вместе с King'ом и Gaahl'ем на “Live at Wacken” приняли участие Nick Barker (ударные) и Ice Dale (гитара).

Комментирует King: «GOD SEED отражает нашу духовную часть лучше, чем то выражал GORGOROTH. GOD SEED отражает стремление к росту; стремление стать суперменом, если можно так выразиться. Думаю, это название лучше отражает то, кем мы хотим стать в будущем. Я также обращаю внимание на то, что мы используем в названии слово “бог”. Оно бросает вызов слабоумным, уважающим нас за то, что ранее мы много использовали слово „сатана”, но всё это имя одной вещи: боге внутри человека и боге внутри природы. Sleepwalker featuring Mike from Fell Voices has agreed to work with us on some future projects! The first will be a re-release of Sleepwalker's two glorious demos on compact disc, followed by a few EPs and hopefully the debut album. The details are a bit sketchy at the moment but as always with time things will ripen and then we'll have something more substantial to post about.

Сингл Shining стал "золотым" в Швеции

Первый в истории шведских экстрим-металистов SHINING сингл, распространявшийся Sweden Rock Magazine, стал "золотым" в родной стране музыкантов – за август по данным Международной федерации производителей фонограмм в этой стране было продано более 10 000 копий диска (следует отметить, что учитывались только проданные журналы, содержавшие копию CD, сам же сингл отдельно НЕ продавался).


Данный сингл вышел на Spinefarm Records; на первой стороне была песня "Fцrtvivlan, Min Arvedel" с нового альбома SHINING "VII / Fцdd Fцrlorare", а на второй – прежде не издававшийся кавер ALICE COOPER "Prince Of Darkness".
Рассказывает основатель и фронтмэн коллектива Никлас Кварфорт: "Никогда не думал, что когда-нибудь повешу в ванной золотую запись SHINING. Хочу поблагодарить наших бывших, нынешних и будущих фанов за помощь в ухудшении нашего мира и помолиться за скорейшее наступления того дня, когда мы сможем заразить и другие страны в таком крупном масштабе!"
