Норвежские блэк-металлисты 1349 заявили, что начали сотрудничать с дизайнером Anti Denim по имени Кэролин Бэккен Лунд, для производства эксклюзивной коллекции джинс ручной работы. Все джинсы, входящие в коллекцию, будут пронумерованы, а также на каждой модели будут стоять автографы. Цена джинс начинается от 4666 норвежских крон, что в европейских единицах будет стоить 590 евро.

Создание джинс оказалось вполне серьёзным делом, так как глава всего движения заявил, что "они обязаны перед жанром, а потому и привлекли к этому делу музыкантов". Скопировано с Dark-World.ru. Затею также поддержали норвежцы Satyricon.

Австрийцы Hellsaw входят в число тех немногих Black Metal банд, которым выпало счастье (хотя возможно и сомнительное) быть частью Napalm Records - довольно нехилой Metal конторы. 2012 год увидит последнюю часть тура Spreading Negation Over Europe. Мы фактически репетируем материал для мини-альбома "L'Isolement" и совершенно нового полноформатного альбома "Spleen Black Metal". Будте настроены на большее количество новостей вскоре.

Норвежские музыканты Kvelertak, в прошлом году выпустившие успешный дебютный альбом, готовятся к созданию нового альбома. Об этом поведал Metal Kaoz вокалист группы Эрлэнд Хьельвик. Вот что он рассказывает про него в интервью:

Metal Kaoz: Я просто хочу спросить, что со следующим альбомом: вы ощущаете какое-нибудь давление? Вы ощущаете, что вам придётся конкурировать самим с собой?

Эрлэнд: Нет, мы так не думаем. Самое главное, чтобы нам нравился альбом, а людям уже решать - принять его или нет. Мы уже сделали две песни и, надеюсь, в следующем году запишем новый альбом. Или, лучше скажу так, попробуем подготовить его в следующем году, ха-ха.

На официальном сайте группы Mgła опубликовано сообшение, из которого следует, что работа над вторым полноформатным альбом, названным "With Hearts Toward None", была завершена. Компакт-диск состоит из 7 треков общей продолжительностью звучания 44 минуты.

Альбом будет издан в начале 2012 года посредством лейбла Northern Heritage (CD/LP), а также Malignant Voices (CD только для продажи в Польше). Скопировано с Dark-World.ru.

We decided to release this compilation, since most of these splits are sold out ages ago and are hard to find! Now the devotees can have a chance to get these tracks on vinyl or cd without paying insane ebay prices!!

and since we are talking about releases and Van Records: The ''Drei Rituale Jenseits des Kosmos'' EP we did on Debemur Morti will be re-released on Van Records as well in 2012! This EP has been sold out for a long time and is very hard to find these days... This re-release will be done on cd and vinyl and will have brand new artwork done by Huub V, who was also responsible for the original artwork! A 1 sided 12'' record with a lasercut on the B-side will be done again!

This one, coming out somewhere in a few months on Van Records....

Американская droning black metal команда “Fell Voices” поделилась новой информацией о предстоящем выпуске альбома и датой нового тура. В апреле 2012 года Fell Voices вместе с братьями по цеху Ash Borer, Sleepwalker и многими другими планируют выступить на Gilead Media Music Festival что будет проходить в местечке Oskosh что в Винсконсине. Так же банда преступила к записи нового альбома выпуск, которого планируется на предстоящий год

(On top of the above three main curses, Malefic opened his vaults and put together another bomb in the likes of a collection of 9 bonus tracks taken from various moments of Xasthur history, including unreleased tracks and, i.e., the tracks from the Xasthur / Nachtmystium split 7″ from 2004)

Full details about “Nightmares at Dawn” (available formats and release date) that is the main feature of this agreement, will be unfold as soon as possible.

Some basic but important notes for now:

1) It has to be remembered that Xasthur stopped his activities in 2010 and thus “Nightmares at Dawn” is not given as a ‘new’ album, but we can anticipate that this is gonna be a real and valuable Xasthur offering consisting of unreleased songs written and recorded in the last 5 years of its existence plus 3 Xasthur classics anthems re-recorded in different moments (‘Prison of Mirrors’, ‘Screaming at Forgotten Fears’ and ‘Suicide in Dark Serenity’).

2) The splits with Angra Mainyu and Acid Enema are longly sold-out and almost on a collectors stuff status now. We will try to maintain their original shape although some substantial rework in the artworks might be needed. We hereby thank THR Sweden for agreeing easy and on friendly terms at these glorious reissues.
Certain treasures dont need to be buried and forgotten.

3) The ‘t.b.a.’ bonus songs collection: we are going to sit-down and make a plan together with Malefic on what is the best and proper way to unleash them. Several ideas in the cauldron, but indeed it was clear since the beginning that to dismember and share them on the three other releases would be stupid and destroying the other releases purpose and original ideas. This might appear as a bonus disc for a special edition of the unreleased album or a self-standing release. Time shall tell (shortly!)
*** Last but NOT least, we are very happy to announce the first label’s joint venture of our history!
As everybody else who’s slowly getting old, we are caring about the youngers growing… :-) and thus we are extremely excited to have involved in the Xasthur releases project the fresh but solid forces of Lo-Fi Creatures record label from Italy.

Lo-Fi Creatures is a rather young team with a clear vision of the actual record business and, most of all, growing-up month by month with concrete actions.
It is driven by creative and enthusiastic people working their asses 24/7 in all aspects of music: taking care of their artists & releases from the studio production and graphic characterization to the practical but necessary aspects, like organising (many!) live events and selling records at venues!

While some bands evolve expanding their creative horizons intruding further on wider fields, this unholy trio isolates itself on the obsolete, the conservative, the orthodoxy, the tradition and their maniacal idolatry for the authentic underground cult. Paradoxically, such a static creative dirge doesn’t necessarily mean that this new and final tormenting opus of naughty beastliness is a plain violation attack. In fact is their most distinctive and diverse assault. Without denying nor abjuring even a single code of their narrow minded integrity, they’ve evocated a ritualism of slightly less reverberating vociferations but have certainly evoked a hundredfold infernal armageddon on which is their definitive and most unchaste offence.

Just succumb and kneel before the swarm of the possessed chained avernal voices that rape everything in sight throughout its entire length. Feel the grinding punishment of those prehistoric primitive drumming reminiscent of the Brazilian hammering. Follow the mesmerizing and bow to the simplicity of those hurtfulness bass lacerating lashes. Adore the anti liturgic rudeness of their crude riffing and the abyssal shrieks of their unmistakable solos. Adhere to the imagery of their graveyard marauding which is in fact as unique and as much of their very own by decree, as the Ross Bay and Bonfim sects. Surrender to a venomous vocational offering which as the apocalyptic final manifest it is, grows on an in crescendo of truculence which culminates on an orgy of mayhemic onslaughts of unpredictable proportions, due to the total lack and unallowance of niceties, brought mercilessly by this amoral horde.

The cursing conventicle that unchristened their style as Ritualistic Black Death Hecatomb in the initiating stage of their demo days, has surpassed on their climax of vengeance the threshold of the macabre and the unbelievable by far, achieving a sound which is more than music: the deafening muttering roar of hell itself.
