Насколько я уважаю и люблю Мастейна, настолько же с некоторых пор не уважаю и не люблю Металлику. А ведь когда-то в далеких 80-х Металлика была моя любимая группа!.. Но я сейчас не об этом. Когда-то в 1995 приобретя новый мини-альбом Megadeth "Hidden Treasures" я обратил внимание, что в песне "Go to Hell" последним куплетом идет та же самая детская колыбельная, что и у Metallica на "Enter Sandman"! Что это - совпадение? плагиат? Насколько я понимаю, песни были написаны примерно в одно время. Тогда остается только удивиться такому творческому переплетению судеб бывших соратников..

А я бы выделил очень красивенную Angry Again и песню на животрепещущую тему 99 Ways to Die! Жаль, что Мастейн лешился великолепного гитариста виртуоза... Без него команда звучит не так четко и выразительно (IMG:style_emoticons/default/6.gif)

Большинство подобных релизов с би-сайдами, песнями к фильмам, демо и каверами обречены на невзрачное прозябание в качестве посланий упертым фанатам и собирателям редкостей. Но в данном случае - практически полноценный релиз с очень приличным контентом. Демо-версии не обсуждаю, но остальное основательно взгрело душу. Понятно, что Параноида испортить - нужен особый талант. Но второе дыхание от Мастейна получили и No More Mr. Nice Guy, и Problems (в отличии от Анархии получилось живенько). Ну и песни для OST хороши, особенно Go To Hell, Angry Again и Diadems (о, эта особенно хороша в своей медленной части). Действительно - скрытые сокровища.
