Whilst contributing nothing new sonically to Black Metal, Easter is unique conceptually. Starting with the premise that Easter is THE most blasphemous time of year as it is the global celebration of the torture and murder of God by humans, the band records ONLY during the three days of Easter. The results are of course utter blasphemies, harsh necro growls and atmospheric blastbeats.
This year's album's focus is on the three days Jesus spent dead. If Jesus is God and he was dead for three days before resurrection - that's three days on Earth without God. Prepare your souls...
