On its third year of existence, this terrific Danish horde returns at last, with their debut full-length record.
Following up to the "Liv, Død og Mellemvejen" demo and "Skikkelser" masterfully delivered in 2021, this project continues its stoic and unremitting path with another attack of ancient Black Metal majesty.
Over half-an-hour of Black Metal purity, done in honor to the genre's traditions, although always with the characteristic original take and bass-heavy production that's usual in their compatriots in the Korpsånd circle, and sounding fresh as ever. A perfect balance between forest wandering melancholy and natural worship very present in the beautiful melodies here present and eerie keyboard lines that definitely resound with 90s Symphonic and Viking Black Metal classics and mighty pagan stoicism and fury is here ever present also in the incessant pummeling of the drums, the determined gallop of the bass and ferocious vocals.
