About Graveyard Ghost:
The band was started in the beginning of the summer of 2003 by Roving and Spane. After composing and recording a first demo ("Haze of Darkness") and a consequent full length ("Crystal Tears"), Spane and Roving start gathering other musicians with the purpose of forming a complete band, able to perform live. Sinner (guitar) becomes a member very soon, he is an old friend of Spane and has been a musician active in the local metal scene for many years (Tabula Rasa, Amaltea). Sinner brings in bassist Stormbringer 666 that will be actually the first bass player of the band. In the meantime, GG get in touch with drummer Mark the Hammer, a thrash and heavy metal fan, that instantly becomes the drummer of the band.
The newly born band starts reharsing, and just a couple of months later, bassist Stormbringer leaves the band. He is promptly replaced by Nick Hansen, that learns and records all of the songs with great effort. Now, the "Evil Heart" EP is finished, and the band presents it during its first gig, in June 2004.
In the following months, the band plays in some clubs of Genova, with a set list composed by GG songs and very famous covers. Some difficulties arise, and the band has to face the defection of singer Roving and bassist Hansen.
Soon after their pullout, the band replaces them with Vyper, a singer well known in the local metal scene because already singer in Death Or Glory, with which he recorded their debut record and some demos, and Mark Thunder, a very good bass player with the name "Steve Harris" printed with fire under his thick hair.
After a whole year of reharsing and concerts, the Graveyard Ghost are more active than ever. At present, the band has finished recording their first professional full length "Omega", you can get it from our official site www.graveyardghost.com
