Everyone hates suicidal black metal for the most part and I am constantly being falsely categorized with this type of music, so I have decided to take my own approach to it, with the actual intent to create something that, to me, is suicidal in nature but lacks a self-indulgent, one-dimensional perspective of something which in my opinion is very sacred and at times even beautiful.
So over the past several weeks, I've manifested my own personal outlook on suicide as this mini-album, "Suicide is Beautiful", consisting of just the one song, at just over 17 minutes.
All I'll say is to keep an open mind, and don't even think of this as a 'black metal' album at all, rather only consider this to be a piece of art. I'm not gonna hype this up to be some earth-shattering, scenester breakthrough album of epic proportions (well, it MIGHT be), but I promise you will at least find it to be interesting. My girlfriend and I both performed the vocals, though there aren't many; I would say 80% of the song is instrumental, but we worked very hard on this and I really wanted to share it with everyone, and it's a free new album so why the hell not?
