Send More Paramedics refer to the type of music they play as 'Zombiecore', a genre they share with the US band, Zombie Apocalypse.
The name of the band is from the line of dialogue from 1985's "Return of the Living Dead" when a zombie says to an ambulance crew dispatch "Send more paramedics."
Send More Paramedics originally started as a side project of "And None of Them Knew They Were Robots".
Send More Paramedics played their last show on October 27, 2007.
The drummer wears a mexican mask and uses the pseudonym El Diablo as a reference to a character of Brian Clement's Meat Market films that goes by the same name.
