Godless is a dark progressive death metal band from Thessaloniki/Greece.
It was founded on February 1994 by Chris Muimbwa.
The band released 5 demos from 1996 to 2006 with various line ups or as a one man band. 61 minute long demo 2001 entitled "Let there be Darkness" did well for the band abroad.
In detail,it brought about 40 very favorable reviews, 10 very unfavorable, 15 interviews and eventually a record offer that the band failed to utilize, due to some affair of bad luck that went on for years.
Short duration roughly made DVD 2006 entitled "2 Fuckin' Wicked" brought the band for the first time to local attention or perhaps notoriety for being the most... godless.
The act was put on a hold from 2007 to 2011 and during this time it gained die hard local fans while faded from foreign attention.
In September 2012 Ek Nekron Productions releashed their last 2 demos on a 12" vynil Ep. The current line up consists of Chris Muimbwa (guitar) Odysseas Kotinoudis (guitar) and Aggelos Papaoikonomou (vocals), Antonis Roditis (bass)
