In general i like those middleeastern influenced folk Metal Bands. I'm just wondering why there always has to be Death Metal a part of it. I really wish there would be more pure Black Metal bands using these kind of folk. Like imagine a band like Kampfar or Windir, but with egyptian or mesopotamian melodies. And i do not count "Al-Namrood" cause they just suck.

Then you should check out the first album "Mirror of Vibrations" of the Egyptian Band Odious... unfortunately they became a Septicflesh Clone afterwards, but this album could be what you are looking for.
