Слушаю как раз сейчас. Эта ЕПиха уже ближе по звучанию к следующему полноформатнику Jester Race (с которого мне In Flames перестали нравиться), нежели к предыдущему Lunar Strain, который был просто великолепен и идеален в мдм-стилистике!

Нуу, мне кажется, что после Lunar Strain появилось какое-то "жирное" звучание, "жизнерадостная" такая мелодика, да и вокал сменился... Мне чувствуется резкость смены мдм-стилистики и это напрягало когда-то...

Пару слов в копилку этой Эпишке. Истинно полюбившийся мне альбом от IF. Jester Race - само собой, но в этом такие соло-риферы, вгоняющие в оргазмотически-абстрактное состояние, что прям "ой, ой, ой, не пойду гулять с тобой!". Начинайте слушать IF с этого альбома, а потом потихоню по лесенке вверх, если вам совесть даст на это право после ощущений от этого шедевра, которые не покинут вас еще долгое время! КРАСАТЕНЬ \m/

пусть и похожа фрагментом Biosphere на Мэйденов, а с остальных треков Эпидемия послизывала мелодии, потому их напоминает

1.Отпадное ип вышло у них!Особенно первые два трэка.имхо,это уже не злое,необузданное,пытающееся вырваться из уздей первобытное зло,а мм..не побоюсь сказать этого слова-более осмысленная и продуманая мызука и это все при том,что и Лунар Стрэйн я тоже лублу.
2.ударник просто отпадно сыграл(тот,что был в Эухарист(89-97),Diabolique(95),многих других,а главное-конечно же Арк Энэми(сессион96,и с 98-по наст.) и легенда Каркасс(с 2007).Я тащуся!А вот Живарп из Дарк Транквилити не очень.Выпущено все это дело было 2 .11.94,хотя на др.источиках указано,что в конце 95.хм..странно.Также очень понравились Ханке+бэк вокалеры.Поставлю 8.5из 10.

не являюсь большим знатоком MDM, поэтому не буду рассуждать, злее ли IF звучат, чем раньше, и какие альбомы лучше. Мне просто понравились песни Subterranean и Timelss тем как звучит в них гитара. Ну и кавер-версия на Metallica.

ваще залип на ипиху, а ведь когда-то давно ваще не перло их творчество до колони, все песни хороши, особенно куски на акустике
услада на уши
и внезапно параллельно зацепил меня клеймен ( не весь кончено альбом, но большая часть )

Миник, в общем и целом продолжающий линию Lunar Strain мелодически, но чуток посветлее и повеселее. Костяк группы остался тем же: гитаристы Jesper Strömblad и Glenn Ljungström, басист Johan Larsson. Остальные участники на сессионной основе. На этот раз Йеспер решил не мучать себя (и слушателей) своей игрой на ударных, а пригласил двоих сессионщиков Daniel Erlandsson и Anders Jivarp, каждый из которых сыграл по две песни. В итоге ударные зазвучали более плотно (по крайней мере у Эрландссона) да и попросту более ровно. А вот вокал по сравнению с дебютом для меня наоборот проигрывает: блэковый скрим в исполнении Henke Forss не то чтобы плох сам по себе, он просто не очень хорошо подходит музыке релиза и как-то теряется в ней. Также осталась некоторая сумбурность изложения (в Ever Dying переход к акустической части лично для меня каждый раз - неожиданность), но, как я уже писал в отзыве на дебютный полноформат - это не баг, а фича мелодэта тех лет. В остальном всё на том же уровне: соло по-прежнему радуют мелодиями, а акустические переборы берут за душу - Стромблад рулит! Лучшая вещь, пожалуй, открывашка Stand Ablaze, но остальные 4 тоже очень хороши.
8/12 (материал на 10/12, но два балла традиционно снимаем за формат миньона и малое количество материала). Отличный миник, который можно и нужно поставить на полку.
