Loupobuli is proud to present their new album, "Provença Discordia", celebrating the band's 30 years of existence.
Since 1993, we have worked tirelessly to create extreme and violent music, inspired by the great pillars of black metal.
Our band has had its ups and downs over the years, with internal tensions sometimes threatening its existence.
But despite this, we have always managed to stay afloat, reinvent ourselves, and move forward. The recording of our first concept album "Provencum Maleficarum" was interrupted in 1996 due to a conflict between Lord Tarascoun and Maniac Matigoun, who had different artistic visions for Loupobuli.
However, in 2015, the remaining members decided to complete the album as a tribute to their late friend and leader Lord Tarascoun.
"Provença Discordia" is a compilation of Loupobuli's best tracks, remixed for an even more brutal and percussive sound.
The 11 tracks include classics such as "Declaracioun De Guerro", "Sciènci Rescoundudo", "Lou Fenestrou", "Li Garrigo Alucina" and "Provencum Maleficarum".
We are honored to share our music and our history with you. Loupobuli is a band that represents Provence, its language and its traditions, while exploring the themes of the occult, black magic, and mysticism.
Our very name comes from a legendary black bread made with rye flour and boiled water, salted with the sweat of those who prepare it.
