Short but brilliant split from these two great acts from the Avgrundsklanger circle, showcasing some of the best that Scandinavian Black Metal has to offer in recent years.
Kiira should need no introduction, formed in 2011 and carrying the essence of darkened, nocturnal and heathen Black metal since 2015, this project counts now with a handful of releases, always at high standards.
Formed and mainly Käärmeenkieli (Myling), later with the addition of Hrabnaz, this project acts as a duo here, delivering a 7 minute track of blissful, triumphant northern winds, carrying the prideful fire of revenge.
Svartsejd is the solo project of Hrabnaz, formed in 2010, but only surfacing to the public in 2020, on a split with Vothana. Svartsejd now returns with a new track on a new split, this time with the contribution of Käärmeenkieli as a session member. Great mid-paced hymn to death and the untimely end, Svartsejd delivers stygian, mid-paced Black Metal, rooted in the nineties, foreshadowing an era of darkness and torment.
