Anima Damnata are better than Devilpriest for my tastes, even if they share some members. Far more brutal, crushingly devastating and devilish.

Anima Damnata is a very interesting and even unique band. It's Brutal Blackened Death Metal with very strong War Metal aesthetics. It's like a mix of Deicide, Incantation, Suffocation Cannibal Corpse, early Cryptopsy and Blasphemy, Beherit, Sarcófago and Profanatica. This album is more technical than previous releases which were very brutal, but at the same time it's their most perfect work.
